Frequently Asked

When did you start writing? About the time I got into trouble for the bloody robot battles I drew on our basement walls. I know, I know, robots don’t leak blood. But mine did!

Where do you get ideas for your writing? A small bearded man in a trench coat delivers a cardboard box to my garage door every Friday afternoon. Inside the nondescript looking parcel is a hand-written note on aged parchment with the most arcane secrets of the Universe which I disguise as fiction.

When and what and where did you first get published? Somehow printed in the junior high school newsletter, my short essay titled “Will this year ever end?” garnered rave student reviews until a teacher ended its short circulation.

Do you blog? I will blog when the telepathic Blog-o-Matic 9000 is subcutaneously implanted just behind my ear so that every unfiltered thought my over-caffeinated brain generates is automatically posted to all social media outlets available.

Why do you write Science Fiction and/or Fantasy? My love of science fiction started in a recurring dream I had as a young boy. In the dream I walk the scorched desert sands in search of a crashed alien craft, and find it. Then I pull a flaming sword from the destruction!

Who has inspired you as a writer? I have a huge list but a few would be C.S. Lewis, Roger Zelazney, Stephen King and Isaac Asimov.

“And of course, I cannot forget all the Tom Swift Jr. stories I read!”, said the author triumphantly.
